Fair Game: how to verify a round

A secret number between 0 and 1 is generated at the start of the round, and its SHA-224 hash is published before the result is revealed. At the end of the round, the secret number is multiplied by the total number of tickets. The integer part of this product determines the winning ticket.

Example: 0.282796734 × 100000 = 28279.6734. The winning ticket is 28279.

  1. Save the Hash before the round ends.
  2. After it ends, open Fair Game and copy Secret number / Round secret.
  3. Calculate SHA-224 of the Secret alone, preserving every character of the original value: SHA-224 generator.
  4. Compare the result with the Hash for that round. To check the ticket, multiply the revealed secret number by the total number of tickets and take the integer part.
